Tams Ware Cup and Saucer 1960s Blue

£4.95

Tams Ware Cup and Saucer 1960s Blue.  Pre-loved and in perfect condition, this is a great example of Tams Ware from the 1960s.

This set includes the coffee cup in aqua and blue floral design; a coordinated aqua saucer and aqua cake plate.

Tams Ware pottery was a trademark produced by the British ceramist John Tams.  The company’s inception was in 1865 and operated from the Crown Pottery Factory in Loughton, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.  Unfortunately the factory was closed relatively recently in 2006.

Today, more than ever the mid century look is highly sought after. Like Tams Ware, its a timeless design and sits very well in contemporary homes and interiors. This cup and saucer would look very much at home on an Ercol sideboard or G Plan coffee table.
