Sip and Paint is perfect for relaxation, mindfulness, some time out, a hen party, a birthday, or just because you can!
Each session includes tuition, a glass of wine or tea or coffee, and all of the art supplies.
As adults we need some time, on occasion, for ourselves and to be simply creative. It’s important for our mind, spirit and well-being. In the relaxed and informal setting of Juul at Home in Ilfracombe, the Sunday Sessions will enable you to explore with paint, with no experience necessary.
So, how does Sip and Paint work?
Sara Clark is a local Ilfracombe artist, with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art painting and over 20 years’ experience in creating commissions and abstract landscapes and seascapes. Examples of her current work can be seen on her Facebook page: saraclarkpaintings. Sara will guide participants through each step of creating a painting, with hints and tips regarding colour, use of paint and perspective, along the way.
Classes typically run for 3 hours, with lots of breaks to chat and have another drink. All materials are provided and the price includes being able to take your painting home.
We strongly advise that you wear clothing that you don’t mind a bit of paint on, although aprons are provided.
Most classes are acrylic on canvas, to allow for rapid drying. Absolutely no experience necessary. Simply come with an open mind.
